Disney Vacation Club Membership! Let's dive right in and chat about how to use your
Vacation Points to book a stay.
Late May and early June is a great time for a Disney vacation - although really any time is pretty magical! I visited
Walt Disney World earlier this year in late May with some planDisney pals and found that the crowds were on the lighter side, in general. We were also able to enjoy the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival, which is always a favorite!
Brenda, you can currently make a reservation for your DVC Home Resort, as you're within the 11-month booking window for that property only. You'll have the best availability now for your Home Resort before booking opens for all DVC Members at the 7-month mark. Simply log onto the Member website, select "Plan Vacation" from the options at the top of the page, then "Book a Vacation" from the drop-down menu. You'll then be taken to a search tool where you can enter your travel dates, party size, and preferred type of accommodations. Your results will appear as a list with each specific category of studio or villa - click into any of these for more details. This will also let you see a calendar view for availability, so you can adjust your dates if need be.
If you're hoping to book a stay at a different resort, some of the larger properties like
Disney's Old Key West or
Disney's Saratoga Springs may have availability at the 7-month mark. This isn't guaranteed, so I generally recommend booking something at your Home Resort and then modifying your reservation 7 months out if you can!
While you're getting your (Donald) ducks in a row for your spring travels, be sure to take a look at the
Member Benefits section of the Member website. There are all kinds of deals and discounts on tours, dining, shopping, and other Disney experiences. It's a fun way to find something new to explore during your vacation!
