Staying at Beach Club Resort with our 5 yr old who wants to use the big slide at Stormalong Bay. Is there a height limit? How deep is the water at the base of the slide? Also, do they rent strollers at the International Gateway entrance to EPCOT? Thanks

The slide at Stormalong Bay is great! There is no height limit listed there. I have seen even three-year-olds (very BRAVE three-year-olds) go down this slide, usually wearing a life vest. While there is no height limit, each slider must ride alone. A child cannot go down on an adult's lap. The water at the bottom of the slide is about chest high on me, probably four feet deep. I have often stood near the bottom of slide waiting to help my kids as they leave the slide area. The lifeguards won't let you wait directly under the slide exit, but you can stand 3-4 feet to the side. This has always worked for us for "catching" purposes.

There are a limited number of strollers available for rental at the International Gateway Entrance to Epcot. You should be aware that Disney recently increased the price for stroller rentals. Check here for the new pricing structure. When I stayed at the Beach Club in February, they had comfortable-looking strollers for sale in the gift shop for about $45.00. You might want to consider this option as well.
