    Hello!! We will be staying at the Beach Club Resort and were thinking to take advantage of the boat transportation to the parks. My mom has knee replacements and is nervous if there are big steps to get on and off the boat. Are there steps? Thank you!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Nicolette! It is our pleasure to help us plan your vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort and help you make it an unforgettable one! 

    My mom has had severe knee problems for a long time, and she has never had issues using the various Disney transportation options. The boats are super easy to access and there are ramps so there is no need for her to lift up her knee at all! My mom always carries her foldable cane in her bag for when she gets tired or in case she needs extra balance, and she has never had to use them when utilizing this transportation method. 

    Friendship boats provide transportation from Disney's Yacht Club Resort and Disney's Beach Club Resort over to Disney's BoardWalk Inn and Epcot and also to Walt Disney World Swan Hotel, Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel, and Disney's Hollywood Studios.  

    It is such a wonderful experience just to ride the boats! I consider it an attraction in itself! The beautiful and relaxing scenery as you sail around Crescent Lake has no parallel. I am so glad to hear you have chosen Disney's Beach Club Resort for your stay!
