    Staying at the Beach Club, we're planning on walking to Hollywood Studios. I remember reading about a "shortcut" through the Boardwalk Resort that saves a couple of minutes of walk time. Can you describe where this shortcut is?

    Hello, Kevin! I'm so glad you stopped by the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    Disney's Beach Club Resort is a fantastic choice for many reasons including, Stormalong Bay, Beaches & Cream Soda Shop, and the views of Cresent Lake. But by far, the best reason of all is its walkability to two Walt Disney World Resort theme parks!  The Friendship Boat dock sits right outside the resort, but walking to Disney's Hollywood Studios is almost always the quicker route; the roughly one-mile walk will take you about 25 minutes, and you can work off that Kitchen Sink Sundae at the same time! Simply head out the back exit of your resort, facing the water, and walk towards Walt Disney World Swan Resort and Disney's Boardwalk Inn and Villas. Once you make it across the bridge, walk towards the entrance to the BoardWalk. Stay to the right, and you'll see signs leading you to the waterside path that will take you to Disney's Hollywood Studios.

    Once you're there, enjoy the fun that awaits you! Blast off to a Galaxy Far, Far Away at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge.  By the time of your trip, both Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance will be open. Then, head to Andy's back yard and enjoy riding past all those giant toys on Slinky Dog Dash, my new favorite coaster!
