    We're staying at he Beach Club in October. Can we take the monorail from MK to Epcot and walk back to the Beachclub. Is this a better option than waiting for a bus? I am thinking about this for after the fireworks at MK.

    My family often stays at the Beach Club. We've discussed your question many times. There are a few things to consider:

    - Will Epcot still be open after the MK fireworks? To get from the Epcot monorail station to the Beach Club, you have to enter Epcot and walk all the way through the park and out the other side. You can't do this if the park is closed.

    - Do you have a Park Hopper ticket? If you only have a base ticket and you've been at the Magic Kingdom, your admission pass will not allow you into Epcot.

    - How tired are you? The walk from the Epcot monorail station to the front entrance to the Beach Club is more than 3/4 of a mile. Late at night with sleepy kids, this can be quite a hike.

    I will say that my family has taken the monorail from the MK to Epcot as a means of going back to our room, but we usually do this in the afternoon, and with the intent of doing a ride or two at Epcot on the way back. I think that at night we'd just take the bus, or perhaps even spring for a taxi from the Transportation and Ticket Center if we're particularly wiped out.
