Hey there Desirea!
I think we might have just become friends because I absolutely love
Enchanted Rose at
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. I don't know what I love more, the beautiful tiered chandelier above the bar representing Belle's gown or the House Made Truffle Fries I am sure to order on every visit. The atmosphere is spectacular, and the service is second to none. I truly feel like a treasured guest each time I unfold my menu.
I'm working my way through the cocktail list but so far Lavender Fog and Floral Bitter Beauty are my two top choices. There are so many fantastic options to choose from I can understand why you'd want to enjoy one of the specialty drinks at every lounge on
Walt Disney World Resort property. While you are certainly welcome to ask your bartender if they can re-create your favorite drink, there is no guarantee that other the lounges will have the particular ingredients on hand. I've found that bartenders are quite knowledgeable and can often make fantastic recommendations even if something doesn't appeal to you at first glance. You might even find a new favorite at
Ale & Compass Lounge located just next door at
Disney's Yacht Club Resort.
If you have your heart set on the Enchanted Rose menu offerings (and let's be honest who wouldn't) you can always make a special trip there during your vacation. I love resort hopping and always try to check out a few other Disney Resorts during each trip. It's a great way to experience a variety of themes and dining options on one resort stay. If you'd like to stop in for a visit you can board a complimentary bus from
Disney's Beach Club Resort to Magic Kingdom Park, and then transfer to the
Resort Monorail to Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. While you're there, stop and listen to the
lobby pianist and maybe even pop into Basin White to inhale the amazing scented soaps and bath salts.
You can also take an afternoon break at Enchanted Rose during your day at Magic Kingdom Park. In fact, I did just that when I visited with a friend a few weeks ago. We stopped to
meet Mickey in Town Square Theatre then headed toward Grand Floridian just in time for the lounge's opening. We enjoyed a cocktail or two and were back on Main Street, U.S.A. for an evening of fun!
Desirea, I hope this information was helpful. If I can offer any other suggestions or recommendations as you prepare for your May visit, please don't hesitate to
reach out.
Thank you for putting our service to the test!
