We will be staying at the beach club with an infant. Can we use a baby float (a float a baby sits in so you dont have to hold him) in the Stormalong Bay pool and or the quiet pool?

I am a frequent visitor to the Beach Club and I have seen baby floats used at both Stormalong Bay and the resort's quiet pools. Stormalong Bay is quite busy with pool toys; many guests uses rafts and noodles here. The quiet pools have much less of that, but there are no lifeguards there to police float use. I can't imagine anyone complaining about a baby float.

Because I'm a neurotic mom, I can't help myself from saying that even though your child is in a float, you still need to keep a watchful eye on the baby at all times. I have a friend who recently had a very nasty scare with her child in a pool. Floats/wings/vest are no substitute for careful monitoring. OK -- public service announcement is now over.

The Beach Club is a wonderful resort. Enjoy your stay there.
