We are staying at the beach club for five days and I just wanted to know if anyone knew the price to upgrade a room to a waterview. I have a 5month DD and a 10yr DS and I would like to be able to watch my son and husband at the pool while my DD naps. Thanks

The exact price difference between a standard room and an a water view room at the Beach Club varies depending on the time of year you're traveling and the type of package you have, but most of the time the difference is between $60 and $100 per night. For actual pricing you would need to call Disney booking at 407-W-DISNEY.

The Beach Club is my family's favorite WDW resort, having a water view room there would be spectacular. I have to tell you though that even having the water view is no guarantee that you would be able to see your family while they are swimming. The pool at the Beach Club is HUGE, spanning three full acres. There is no way that any room could see the entirety of the pool. Also, there are some water view rooms that have more of a view of the lake or of the smaller "quiet" pool.

If you want to pay more for the view because you want the view, then by all means go ahead and splurge, but don't do it so that you can watch your family.
