Hi staying at the beach club for the first time wanted to try a new hotel. We always stay at WL. We have a garden/woods view room & was wondering what was the best location of the hotel should we should request when checking in. Thanks

Hi, Joann! Disney's Beach Club Resort is my husband's idea of a practically perfect vacation destination. In fact, he would be content to hang out at the resort all day while I take our girls to the theme parks.

This resort is fairly small, so there is not a long walk to any point within the resort. Your room request is going to depend more on what you are looking for. Do you want a really short walk to the elevators or lobby? Are you planning to pop over to Epcot often and want a room close to it? Do you want a full-size balcony for relaxing in the evening before you head to dinner? These are all great things to consider when staying at this resort. Personally, I consider that full balcony to be highest priority, so I always put in a request for it. There are a good many rooms with a standing-room-only Juliet balcony, so if that does not appeal to you, then you know the request to make!

When I reserve our Disney's Beach Club Resort room, I usually make a call in to the Resort Reservations line and ask a Cast Member to make a room request notation on our reservation. Please understand that these are only requests and cannot be guaranteed. When I have completed Online Check-In prior to our stays, I have found a room request checkbox for Ground Floor, Lower Floor, Upper Floor, and Large Balcony. However, these request boxes do change occasionally, so calling in may be your best bet.

No matter your room placement, I am sure you will have a great vacation and will enjoy many splashtastic days at Disney's Beach Club Resort. Please let us know if you have any other questions as you continue to plan your trip.
