We are staying at the Beach Club and have a dining reservation at Jiko at 7:00. What is the best way to get there and what is the travel time?

    Hi Kim!

I have two suggestions to getting over to the Animal Kingdom Lodge and back:

    1) Hop on the motor boat launch from the Beach Club to Hollywood Studios. When you arrive at the studios, head left and walk over to the bus stops. The bus to Animal Kingdom Lodge will be available there. Alternatively, there is a walking path from the Yacht & Beach Club/Boardwalk area to the Studios. Walking time is about 20 minutes or so. I personally prefer the boat!

    2) From the Beach Club, take the first bus to Animal Kingdom (or any park or Downtown Disney- but Animal Kingdom will be the closest to the lodge). Once you arrive there, transfer to an Animal Kingdom Lodge bus.

Of course, if you're already at a park, you can simply use the bus transportation from there to the lodge.

I would plan approx. 1 hr 15 min to 1 hour 30 min. to get there on time. The lodge is very beautiful, and you're welcome to explore the grounds and view the animals on the savannas. After dinner, you may want to check out the viewing of animals with Night Vision goggles. For info on this free activity, and any others, ask for an event calendar at the lobby concierge.

    Enjoy!
