We are staying at the Beach Club in August! We booked a standard room and I was hoping you may have advice as to where in the resort I would find a great "standard room". We have three children and being near the pool/dining may be helpful. Than

    Hi Tara,

Disney's Beach Club Resort is one of my family's favorite vacation spots at the Walt Disney World Resort. This resort has an incredible pool and quick access to Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Unlike the Value or Moderate Resorts which have a food court, this resort has restaurants and a small marketplace with limited quick service menu items. The Beach Club Marketplace is good for breakfast in the morning and a sandwich for lunch and dinner.

The restaurants Cape May Cafe and Beaches and Cream have a wider selection of food. You can also head to the Yacht Club and the Yachtman Steakhouse and Captain's Grille.

As for a standard room, I would note on your early check-in that you want a room near both food and the main pool. This will allow the cast member to try and accommodate your request upon arrival.

    Wishing you a magical vacation!
