We're staying at the Beach Club in April. Would you recommend bringing towels for the pool?Anything else you find essential for packing.Trying to figure out what to bring for kids 6,4&2. Shorts and t-shirts in April? THANKS!!

I've stayed at the Beach Club many times, and it's my kids' favorite hotel ever! There are free towels at the pool, you don't need to worry about bringing them from home. As for clothing, I think you'd be pretty safe with mostly shorts and t's in April; the average daily highs are in the low 80s. I would also bring at least one pair of long pants too, in case you end up facing something a bit colder. I always bring a light sweater with me, even during the hottest times, because I tend to get chilled in air conditioning.

I'd say your most important item to bring from home is comfortable shoes for walking; your feet will get a good workout crossing the parks. I generally bring three pairs of shoes per person: sneakers for walking, flip flops or Crocs for the pool, and dressy sandals for the nicer restaurants. I also tend to wear a hat in the parks because I'm fairly sensitive to the sun. You'll also want lots of sunscreen. My kids wear goggles when they swim, something you might think about too.

If your 2-year is not yet potty-trained, I would be sure to bring diapers or pull-ups from home because they are expensive at WDW.

If you and your spouse both have cell phones, I'd be sure to bring those to parks in case you end up splitting up for an hour or two.

Other than that, just bring your normal personal care items and don't worry too much if you forget anything. The gift shop at the Beach Club is very well stocked with anything you might need during your travels, from children's Tylenol and toothpaste to nail clippers and extra underwear.

As for what you'll bring to the parks each day, when my kids were the ages of yours, I always kept small baggies of snacks (Goldfish, crackers, etc.) with me at all times. This prevented many "but I'm hungry NOW" meltdowns. I also had a big Ziplock bag with sticker books and other small hand-held diversions. This saved us many times while we were waiting for meals to be served, etc.

    I'm sure you'll have a great trip!
