Hi! We're staying at the BCR from 2/28/12-3/7/12. My mother-in-law uses an ECV and wants to spend time near hotel. Does the boardwalk require a park pass to enter? Also, if we dine at night in Epcot and she joins us will she need a park pass just to dine?

    Hi Caithlin,

No tickets are required to enjoy the shopping, dining, and entertainment in the Boardwalk resorts area. You're welcome to explore the Boardwalk at no charge.

On the other hand, tickets ARE required for any entrance to Epcot. Your mother-in-law would need to use a park ticket to enter Epcot at any time, even just for a meal. If you're looking to economize, you should know that the Boardwalk is steps away from the International Gateway entrance to Epcot. If you were touring Epcot for the day, it would be very easy for you to step out of the park for a bit to meet someone at a Boardwalk restaurant.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if you have additional questions.
