We will be staying at the BC with our 4 kids( 11,9,4,1 ) in 3 weeks. My question is when we check in , what type and location of room should we request ? Thanks for your help.

    Jenny,

What I am about to suggest goes against much of what I would recommend at most any other resort, but there is some method in the madness here. I would ask for a room towards the far East of the complex, approximately midway between the lobby and the farthest-most eastern end.

Normally I like to keep close to the lobby. These immense resorts can become a bit of a nightmare, as you seem to have a 15 minute hike from your room to the lobby. That means a long walk to the buses, to the restaurants, to the convenience stores, and to the pool. Shortening that 'commute' helps me keep my sanity.

But at the Beach Club the distance buys you both solitude and speed. The solitude comes from a noticeable reduction in resort noise to your room. The speed comes from the ability to get to the Crescent Lake walkways in a few steps from your room, getting you more quickly to Epcot, the BoardWalk, the boat jetty, and the pool, as they are not as far away as they would be in most other resort complexes.

    I hope that this helps!

    Have a magical vacation!
