Hi. I am staying at the Bay Lake Towers next month and need distilled water for a CPAP. It costs me $1.19/gallon at Target. I can’t find it for less than $30 on amazon prime plus $6 package delivery fee at the resort. Please suggest an alternative.

Greetings, Katherine! Are you packed for your trip next month? My husband says I pack WAY too early for my visits to Walt Disney World Resort, but I think it helps the time pass more quickly! Even if you haven't begun gathering your Minnie ears, I'm sure you're getting excited to come home to the magic.

Yikes! I can't imagine anyone who'd want to pay $30 for a gallon of water, so let's see what other options we can find for you, Katherine. To paraphrase Sebastian, life is hotter when you don't have to spend a fortune on water! I spoke to a friendly (and possibly thirsty) Cast Member, and she told me that the gift shops at Disney Resort Hotels will have gallons of distilled water for sale. If you don't see any on the shelves, be sure to ask because it might be stored elsewhere due to space availability. She didn't want to quote an exact price, but she assured me it would be more reasonable than $30.

Before you go, I'd like to make a dining suggestion for your stay at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort. I recently celebrated my birthday at Steakhouse 71 at The Contemporary, and it did not disappoint! The decor is such a fun tribute to Walt Disney himself, with many of the dishes inspired by his favorites. I had the Vegetable "Wellington" and it was amazing!

I hope your visit is a splash, Katherine! Stop by planDisney anytime.

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
