    We will be staying at Bay Lake Towers in Jan. We are traveling with a baby, so I anticipate that I will need to do laundry during our stay. Where are the laundry facilities and what kind of detergent do the machines take? Should I pack detergent?

    I have stayed at the Bay Lake Towers several times. It's a wonderful resort in a great location.

    If you are staying in a one, two, or three bedroom villa, you will have a washer and dryer right there in one of the closets in your room. These are regular washers like you might find in a home. Any regular laundry detergent will do. The villa rooms come with one starter pack of Tide laundry powder. If you need to do more than one load, then you are welcome to bring your favorite from home. Or if you'd rather not bother, you can also buy single use boxes of detergent in the gift shop at the Contemporary hotel (attached to Bay Lake Tower) for just a few dollars.

    If you are staying in a studio villa, you will not have a washer/dryer in your room. However, there are guest laundry facilities located on the first floor of Bay Lake Towers with coin-operated washers/dryers like in a laundrymat. There are vending machines that dispense detergent and fabric softener sheets. Or again, you are welcome to bring detergent from home.
