    We're staying at the Bay Lake Towers at the Contemporary and have an 8:00am reservation for the character breakfast at Akershus. How long does it take to get there? We're also contemplating making this reservation 30 minutes later. Kids are 5 & 2. Th

    Hi Stephanie! Congratulations on scoring one of those coveted early-morning princess breakfast reservations! I consider a breakfast reservation an hour before the parks open the ideal time! You're able to enter the park before everyone else, and you finish your breakfast just in time to be at the front of the line for the rides when the park opens. I wouldn't move it 30 minutes later, unless you or the kids are just not morning people and getting up that early would make everyone grumpy. 

    To reach Akershus in Epcot, you can take the monorail from the Contemporary. You'll change trains at the Transportation and Ticket Center. The ride will take about 30 minutes, but you'll need to factor in time to wait for the monorail to arrive and to change trains, to enter Epcot, and to walk to the restaurant in the Norway pavilion, so you'll need to leave Bay Lake Towers about an hour before your reservation.
