Hi! We are staying at Bay Lake Towers with a Bay View, 2 bedroom. Will we be able to see fireworks and if so what would be best for requesting a room? What suggestions do you have for magical view? And any other suggestions for enjoying the resort?

    Welcome Home Courtney!

You picked an excellent Resort for your Walt Disney World vacation! Bay Lake Towers at Disney’s Contemporary Resort is the best of all the ‘World! You are a five-minute walk from Magic Kingdom Park, a short monorail ride to Epcot and have one of the best.views.ever(!) of Magic Kingdom Park’s nightly firework spectacular.

The best way to ensure a magical view is to book a 2-Bedroom Villa - Theme Park View. You will have a great view of Cinderella Castle, Space Mountain and all the things at the most magical of kingdoms. For a more expansive view, I would request a higher floor. My family has had great luck in requesting an N/S facing view, on an upper level, with the room ending in an even number. I would call the Resort with your request a week or so before you arrive. Remember though - a request is just that. A request!

If the pirate’s life is for you, grab yer mates and jump on board the Pirates & Pals Fireworks Dessert Voyage. The adventure starts at your hotel, where you will enjoy a splendid feast of food and drinks. Keep yer hooks out - Mr. Smee and Captain Hook want to meet the recruits. Once the pirate parade is over, jump aboard yer ship to have a spectacular view of the fireworks at Magic Kingdom Park. For the most exclusive viewing, spend an evening in the Top of the World Lounge. The lounge is only available to Members and their guests staying on the reservation. It is the perfect background for the ultimate viewing party!

Courtney, I wish you a spectacular stay! If you have any other questions, feel free to swing back on by!
