Staying in Bay Lake tower with a 2 yr old and a 21 month old. Do we need to rent cribs and where would we do that? Need them delivered to the hotel. Pack and plays are too small. Also coming with a 3 yr old - Sleeping is going to be rough

    Hi Marian!

It sounds like you have quite the crew of tiny Mousketeers coming to the Walt Disney World Resort with you! Traveling with little ones can be both amazing and yet challenging, but Disney offers many options for little ones to help make your trip more enjoyable!

For the 3-year-old, you might want to consider requesting toddler bed rails. These would go on the edge of the bed to ease any worries of falling out. When my kiddos were small, they usually slept on the pull-out couch, and we would place the couch cushions on the floor next to them in case of any restless sleep, but know that actual bed rails are an option.

While traditionally there is a pack-n-play and high chair in each villa, with covid-19 precautions in place, Guests will need to request them as needed. There are plenty of these items available and getting a pack-n-play or high chair is not a problem.

There are also larger cribs available, however, their numbers are limited, and they are on a first-come, first-served basis. While not typically a “full-size” crib, they are definitely larger than a pack-n-play. You can call to have requests for cribs and bedrails added to your reservation in advance, but I would also be sure to ask about them upon arrival. Most of the time there isn’t a problem getting one, but know it is always possible one would not be available. You would still have the pack-n-play as a backup option. While my kiddos were past using them at home, I found that at Disney they were usually so tired that they did just fine in the pack-n-play. But only you know your kiddos, and a little one who isn’t sleeping usually means a grown-up isn’t either!

If a true full-size crib is an absolute must-have, you can consider renting from an outside company. Your preferred search engine should be able to provide you with several local companies to choose from. At this time, Disney does not have an official preferred provider for such items, so the decision would be up to you. With all those little ones, if you’ll be looking for stroller rental, I can highly recommend Disney’s preferred provider, ScooterBug. They can deliver strollers to Bell Services to be waiting for you on arrival, and you can leave the stroller with Bell Services to be picked up on your departure day. Our traveling companions used this company on our trip just a  few weeks ago and the transaction was seamless. A great company to work with!

I hope this information helps you figure out the best sleeping arrangements for all those little cuties, and that everyone gets good rest on vacation, Marian!

    Have a Magical Day!
