We are staying at Bay Lake Tower and want to do early morning hours for EPCOT. what is our best transportation and about how long will it take to get there? Is Monorail working that early in the morning?

    Hello Molly,

Oh my Goodness, soon you will be at the most magical place in the world and during one of my favorite times to visit. With Fall colors and decorations adorning Walt Disney World, Epcot's International Food & Wine Festival and Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, you are sure to have many magical and memorable moments.

Your best travel option, from Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort to Epcot for an early morning arrival, is the monorail. Keep in mind many Guests love to arrive for rope drop (aka when the park opens) and will line up a good 30- 40 minutes prior to opening and you should anticipate a good 45 minutes of travel and transfer time. Board the Resort monorail, at Disney's Contemporary Resort, and travel to the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC), which is the first stop after boarding. Disembark at the TTC and make your way to the Epcot monorail for the final leg of your trip and to begin an early morning adventure at Epcot.

If I can be of any further pixie dusted assistance feel free to ask and safe travels to Walt Disney World.

    Peace, Love & Mickey,

I am a Dreamer who has always believed dreams are meant to be the path to your future. Walt Disney, I believe, felt the same way, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Disney has always been proof that endless imagination and the passion to make them come to fruition is possible. I will never be to old for Disney, it is home to all of us Dreamers.
