We are staying back at the Grand Floridian in April 2023. Is it possible to pay for a late checkout? We have in the past had a 1 pm when we asked. Our flights this year are very late in the evening, so could we pay to keep our room until 6pm?

Hi William and welcome to planDisney!

Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is one of the most beautiful resorts at Walt Disney World Resort! My husband and I held our wedding reception there so the resort is very near and dear to me! While there we found the Cast Members very friendly and accommodating.

There is no fee for a late checkout. On your last day, I would suggest requesting a late checkout after 11AM. You can do this by asking a Cast Member at the front desk and they will do everything in their power to accommodate your request. Just a reminder that late checkouts are not guaranteed.

In the event the front desk is unable to offer a late checkout, you are more than welcome to store your luggage with Bell Services so you can enjoy Walt Disney World Resort for the rest of the day. During our visit last year, that's exactly what my family and I did! We had an evening flight as well and we were able to store our luggage then my daughters and I took a bus to Disney Springs while my husband and son stayed and enjoyed the pool for a few hours!
