    How to make reservations at a park.

    Hi Larry and welcome to planDisney! A visit to Walt Disney World Resort is a great way to start the New Year! 

    I have great news - Theme Park Reservations are no longer required for date based tickets. A date based ticket requires you to choose a start date when you purchase. This became effective on January 9, 2024. For other admission types, theme park reservations may be required. 

    Theme Park Reservations are required for:
    • Student Group Tickets
    • Sport and Convention tickets
    • Florida Resident Disney Thrills Ticket
    • Disney Military Salute Ticket
    • Annual Pass
    If you will be purchasing a ticket that requires a reservation, please be sure to check the Theme Park Reservation Availability page before purchasing.
