We are staying at the ASSR, I have booked a few restaurants in downtown disney for dinner. Is it ever a problem getting to DD from this resort timewise, or should I book a restaurant at the park we will be at that day? (not using a hopper) Thanks so much :

Hi, Michelle!  There are buses that can take you from your resort to Downtown Disney and vice versa, just be sure to give yourself plenty of time.  I always allow about an hour from door to door at dinner time - you might be able to get away with 45 minutes, but especially if you are there at a busy time of year, give yourself the extra time.

If you want to conserve some of your time, I'd suggest doing reservations at the theme parks.  If you count the time you'll need to travel from the park to the restaurant, then the time it will take you to get back to the theme park (the buses at Downtown Disney do not go directly to a theme park, so you'll have to go to a resort first), it may be worth it to your family to just eat at the park.  If you won't be going back to the park, it won't make much difference.

I hope your upcoming vacation is positively magical!
