Hiya, Breanne! Welcome back to the Moms Panel! Your four kids must be looking forward to their trip, and there's no better way to cool off on a hot summer day at Walt Disney World than a day at the resort pool.
I was able to do a quick internet search to find a listing of the January resort activities for
Disney's All-Star Music Resort, and it looks like the Mickey Tie-Dye activity is a daily activity starting around 3:00 pm, while the Design Your Own Tote Bag is offered on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 12:30 pm. When I called Guest Services at (407) 939-6000
, they were unable to confirm pricing for these activities, since they are subject to change. However, my Moms Panel friend, Leslie, recently returned from her trip after staying at The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and the price of the tie-dye activity there was $18 plus tax.
When we stayed at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge in 2016, my kids loved this activity, and it was a great way to take a break from the parks in the afternoon. They each tie-dyed a T-shirt (and they made pillowcases as well), and no pre-registration was required- they just scanned our MagicBands. The Cast Members had already placed the rubber bands in just the right places to create a super fun Mickey! We did this the day before we boarded our Disney Cruise, so they neatly wrapped up the projects for the kids so we could pack it in our suitcases. These ended up being some of our favorite and most unique Disney Parks souvenirs!
You're a smart mom to plan some pool time in your trip itinerary. Hope you all have a swimmingly great time!
