Hello, Tim! We are Disney Vacation Club members and love to utilize the kitchen in our villas. Since we don't have access to a car while on vacation, Garden Grocer is the most convenient way to get the necessities we need including bottles of water, sports drinks, and even sunscreen. Their site contains more than 5,000 products, with categories such as dairy and produce to baby care and beauty needs. You can also purchase alcoholic beverages like beer and wine as long as you email them a picture of your photo ID. All Walt Disney World Resort hotels will hold and refrigerate your groceries until you arrive (they've even kept our Klondike Bars frozen), so you will not have to be present for delivery. Just call Bell Services when you arrive in your room, and they'll bring your groceries up for you. Easy peasy! They do charge a delivery fee, but a discount is given if you order early, so I like to place my order a couple of months before my trip.
Some people, like my Moms Panel friend,
Brandy, use Instacart because prices are often lower, and you can use digital coupons or get the same specials that are offered in-store from places like Publix, Whole Foods, and Costco. In her experience, her groceries were able to be held by Bell Services until she arrived at her resort. Because policies are subject to change, you may want to confirm this by calling Instacart at (888) 246-7822.
Tim, you're going to love
Disney's All-Star Movie Resort! The
World Premiere Food Court has a great pasta bar that's open until 11:00 PM for late night snacking, and the bakery cases at any of the All-Star Resorts are filled with some incredible cupcake creations!
