    We are staying @ the ASM, is there a close place to rent a car for a day? If so would you know where to find pricing for just that day. Thanks

    There are a number of car rental properties at Walt Disney World. The most important thing to do first is to visit their sites to see who has the best rates. 

    After you find some good deals then worry about location. I find that it is better to focus on the rental location's ease of access rather than proximity.

    Some of the best choices are;

    1. The AAA Car Care Center (Alamo or National): A real convenience here is the resort shuttle that will take to the center, and back. 
    2. The Hilton on Hotel Plaza Boulevard (Avis): Easy to get to, just bus to Downtown Disney, hop off at that first Marketplace bus stop, then cross the street.
    3. Other Options: The three remaining choices listed below are on Hotel Plaza Boulevard, but not as easy to get to. So unless you get an outrageous rate, stick to one of the first two choices.
    • Doubletree Hotel (Budget)
    • Holiday Inn (Dollar)
    • Royal Plaza Hotel (Enterprise)
