We are staying as ASM and have a 7:45 ADR at Chef Mickey's. A few questions: What is the best way to get there, is there a viewing place to nearby to watch Wishes and will there be transport back to our resort if we do stay to watch the fireworks?

    Hello Derrek

A dinner with Mickey and his Pals at Chef Mickey's, located in the Disney Contemporary Resort, is a magical way to spend an evening at the Walt Disney World Resort.

Your best way to get to the Disney Contemporary Resort is to board a bus to the Magic Kingdom Park. Once you arrive at the Magic Kingdom Park you can either take a short walk to the Disney Contemporary Resort or board the Resort monorail; Disney's Contemporary Resort will be your first stop.  You will want to allow your self about forty-five minutes of travel time.

Chef Mickey's is located on the fourth floor, the Grand Canyon Concourse level, after dinner walk past the shops on this level to the balcony located on the north-side. Just outside is a viewing area where Guest can enjoy Magic Kingdom's Wishes Nighttime Spectacular.

When you are ready to head back to your resort simply reverse your travel.

Enjoy your upcoming stay at the Walt Disney World Resort and let me know if I can be of any further pixie dusted assistance.

I am a Dreamer who has always believed dreams are meant to be the path to your future. Walt Disney, I believe, felt the same way, "All our dreams can come true, if we have the courage to pursue them." Disney has always been proof that endless imagination and the passion to make them come to fruition is possible. I will never be to old for Disney, it is home to all of us Dreamers.
