    Staying at Art of An. In April and have 7:35 reservation at Chef Mickey. I keep reading conflicting info about when buses start..... Will we be able to get there? I have a toddler and don't want to lug a car seat just for one taxi ride.

    Good Morning April, 

    Chef Mickey's is located in Disney's Contemporary Resort and is a magical way to begin your morning at the Walt Disney World Resort.

    If you are not going to take a taxi, which I completely understand why, you will obviously utilize Disney's complimentary bus transportation. Disney's bus transportation, begins running an hour before the park opens. In other words, if Magic Kingdom has an Extra Magic Hour from 8:00am-9:00am bus transportation begins at 7:00am and usually much sooner so as to accommodate early Advance Dining Reservation within the park. The same hold true for all Disney Theme Parks. If parks are scheduled to open at 9:00am then bus transportation will begin running at 8:00am for that specific park.

    Your best choice is travel to Magic Kingdom by way of bus and then take the Disney Resort Monorail to Disney's Contemporary Resort or you could walk to Disney's Contemporary Resort from Magic Kingdom. Your other option is to take a bus to Disney's Hollywood Studios, and then transfer to Disney's Contemporary Resort bus. 

    If by the time of your arrival you are still unsure of the best way to get to your 7:35am Advance Dining Reservation at Chef Mickey's, your Resort Concierge can help with the best travel plan for you and your family. Rest assured you will make it.
