    . We are staying at Art of Animation. Will be be able to get on the monorail from this area and ride to magic kingdom and are the walks really long?

    Hi there Talisa!

    Congratulations on your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation! I enjoyed a lovely stay at Disney's Art of Animation Resort this past weekend. Unfortunately, you will not be able to access the monorail directly from your resort. Complimentary bus transportation is available between all of the parks and Disney's Art of Animation Resort.  

    Although the resort is quite large, I did not find the amount of walking to be excessive. That being said, certain buildings are located closer to bus transportation and other public areas, so the amount of walking can vary depending on your room location. In regards to the distance from the bus depot at Magic Kingdom Park to the front entrance of the park, the walk is very minimal.
