Hey there, Alicia! Welcome to planDisney and thanks for stopping by with such a great question.
Eeek! In just
days, you'll arrive at
Disney's Art of Animation Resort to embark on your magical adventure at the Most Magical Place on Earth. I know you all must be
so excited! Walt Disney World is the one place where I feel super comfortable and confident traveling alone or with kiddos without my spouse. Disney caters to families and just makes it so easy! I'll admit that I almost always overpack and travel with whosits and whatsits galore, so I'm an expert on getting assistance with all my thingamabobs. Let's chat about it!
I think you'll be happy to hear that
Bell Services will gladly assist you with your luggage and your cooler. When you arrive, you'll see the "Luggage Assistance" sign outside near the entrance. Just ask a Bell Services Cast Member for help unloading and transporting your items. If your room is ready, you can park your vehicle near your room and head to your magical home away from home while the Bell Services Cast Members transport your luggage right to your room. If your room isn't ready yet, they will gladly store your things, even your cooler, for you until it is. Once your room is ready, just call Bell Services from your room's phone, and they'll bring your things right to your room.
While Bell Services is complimentary, gratuities are appreciated by the Cast Members. I am one of those people who never has cash on hand, and the one thing I often seem to forget is to grab some cash before traveling. While there is a 24-hour ATM located near the front desk at your Resort, this is your friendly reminder to bring some cash for gratuities for Bell Services, if you'd like.
There is nothing like arrival day at Disney World! It's so exciting to know that there is so much fun and magic right on the horizon. On arrival day, my family and I love to explore our Resort and take a dip in the pool. Just in case our room is not ready when we arrive, I always pack a separate pool bag with our swimsuits, sunscreen, goggles and sunglasses, and if pool time is your thing, too, I recommend doing this. Then, if your room isn't ready, you can just grab the pool bag and kiddos and head to the pool for some fun while Bell Services takes care of your luggage. Life under the sea,
is better, after all!
I hope this helps, Alicia, and I hope you all have the most magical and memorable time! Please feel free to stop by any time with any questions you have.
Life is the bubbles,
Mandy
