    We are staying at the Art of Animation resort and have 6:30 pm reservations for Chef Mickeys. What is the best way to get there? How long will it take to get there?

    Hello Randy,

    Dining with Mickey and his Pals at Chef Mickey's is always a fun and memorable time. Chef Mickey's is located on the fourth floor of Disney's Contemporary Resort, also called the Grand Canyon Concourse level.

    From Disney's Art of Animation allow about 45 minutes of travel time, if using Walt Disney World transportation. Board a Walt Disney World bus to to the Magic Kingdom park. Once you arrive to Magic Kingdom park you have two options; either board a Resort Monorail in which Disney's Contemporary Resort is the first stop or take a quick but leisurely walk from the Magic Kingdom park bus depot to Disney's Contemporary Resort. 

    Another option, is to take a short taxi ride from Disney's Art of Animation to Disney's Contemporary Resort. The trip is just under 15 minutes and with fare and tip usually is about $20. Taxis are located at the front of your resort.
