We staying at Art of Animation. We recently made changes from the family suite to the Little Mermaid room. I see that it says its either 2 queens or 1 king. Do we have to request a specific one or will they assign the room based on party size?

Hi Sheila!  Thank you for bringing another great question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I think you are really going to love Disney's Art of Animation ResortLandscape of Flavors is one of the best Quick-Service dining options at any Resort Hotel.  Disney Skyliner makes it so quick and easy to get to Disney's Hollywood Studios, Epcot, and Disney's Caribbean Beach and Riviera Resorts.  Be sure to take yourself on a tour of the different areas at Disney's Art of Animation Resort.  All the larger-than-life sculptures make great photo ops!

Sheila, the vast majority of rooms in The Little Mermaid section of the resort are equipped with 2 Double Beds.  In my experience, a room with 1 King Bed would only be assigned to a Guest who had requested that particular room type.  Hakuna Matata, no worries; Guests will be assigned a room that can accommodate their party size.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions as you plan your Walt Disney World Resort vacation.  We are always happy to help.  Enjoy!
