We are staying at the art of animation for one night, then going to Bay lake towers for the rest of our stay. Is there a way to have our luggage brought to the second hotel from the first or do we have to do it ourselves?

    Hi Kimberly,

No worries, Disney will take care of the luggage transfer for you.

On the morning that you're leaving Art of Animation, simply bring your bags to the Bell Services desk. This is outside, near the front entrance to the hotel. They will tag your bags for you, give you a receipt, and arrange to have them sent to Bay Lake Tower. Then you're free to go off and enjoy the parks.

Later in the day, simply go to the desk at Bay Lake and they'll have your bags.

Transferred bags typically take at least 4-5 hours to arrive at their destination. So keep in mind that you won't have access to them during the day. Be sure to take things like medications you'll need during the day with you.

I have done this several times myself. It's a great convenience when switching hotels at Disney World.

    Have a great vacation!
