We are staying at Art of Animation hotel. Can we request a ground level room? My parents are going with us and they are in their 70s so stairs do not work well for them.

    Hi Rita,

You are welcome to request a ground floor room at any of Disney's resort hotels, including the Art of Animation. However, all the hotels are fully accessible by elevator. There would be no reason for your parents to have to climb stairs at any Disney hotel.

If you do want to make a room request, you may want to head over to the independent website blog.touringplans.com. Search there for an article called "The Art of the Disney World Room Request." You'll get the complete scoop on the best way to make a room request there.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know what else we can do to help.
