We are staying at Art of Animation in February. Will the pools be open. And do the heat the pools if the weather cools off? Thanks!

    Hello Savannah!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We love a winter getaway from the cold of Indiana to our favorite vacation destination, the Walt Disney World Resort! I joke that you can always tell the northerners like us from the Floridians while we are there. My family will be wearing shorts, and you’ll see Disney Cast Members wearing coats and hats! You can also tell who the cold weather visitors are because we are more than willing to enjoy the pool. You’ll be happy to know that the pools at Walt Disney World Resort Hotels are open throughout the winter and stay heated to a comfortable temperature. So pack those swimsuits and get ready to have a splashtastic good time on your visit to Disney’s Art of Animation Resort. Here’s a little Disney Mom Tip for you, when swimming in The Big Blue Pool, which is the main pool at the resort, take a moment to dive underwater and just…listen. You may find a little extra magic!

    Just Keep Swimming!
