Staying @ art of animation. When going to Epcot we plan on rope dropping straight to test track then to frozen. Would it be better to ride the bus and enter at the front entrance or ride skyliner and get dropped off at international gateway for our am plan

Hi there, Bruce! Welcome back to planDisney! Thank you so much for taking the time to reach back out and asking another excellent Walt Disney World Resort vacation question!

Epcot has always been one of my family’s favorite parks to visit and was, in fact, the first theme park we visited together! We just love the wide array of entertainment offerings that are largely educational. It is so much fun to learn about the various cultures found in the World Showcase while also picking up some fun science facts in Future World!

Typically, our “rope drop” plans vary based on which attraction we plan on experiencing first! If we plan on heading directly to Test Track whenever we arrive, we usually take Bus Transportation and enter through the Future World Entrance. If we intend on heading towards Frozen Ever After at the start of our day, we utilize the Disney Skyliner and enter through the World Showcase entrance. Ultimately, though, the decision is largely based on personal preference! While the Future World Entrance is a bit closer to Test Track, you can always take the Disney Skyliner if you want the exciting, aerial journey to kick off your day.

My one piece of advice would be to arrive as early as possible if you plan on experiencing both of these attractions with a minimal wait! These are two of the most popular attractions at Epcot so they do tend to fill up pretty quickly even at the start of the day. My family and I often arrive at least 30 minutes before the official opening time. This gives up enough time to travel to our destination and go over our game plan for the start of our day!

Best of luck planning your magical vacation to Walt Disney World Resort! Please let us know if we can answer any other questions for you as well!
