    We will be staying at Art of Animation and have a dining reservation at Wilderness Lodge. What free transportation service would be our best option? We are not interested in a Minnie Van due to the size of our party.

    Thanks for your question!

    So there are several ways to get from Point A to Point B, but I think the best one for you would be the following;

    • Take a Bus from Disney's Art of Animation Resort to the Magic Kingdom
    • Upon arrival, go to the boat dock that sits directly facing the entrance to the park, and take one of the boats to Disney's Wilderness Lodge (no, you do not have to go in the park to get to the boats). The signage should be pretty clear, and cast members are always on hand to help you get on the right vessel

    It is as easy as that. Total ride time on the bus and in the boat should be about 35 minutes. But of course you will likely wait for your bus to arrive at the Art of Animation Resort, and for the boat at the entrance to the Magic Kingdom. I would give yourself at least a good hour for the total travel time, to be safe.

    TRAVEL TIP: Remember to use the My Disney Experience App when you are at your home resort so that you can see when the next bus to the Magic Kingdom will depart. That helps you not miss one, but also spend less time sitting at the bus stop!

    Have a Magical Vacation!
