We're staying at the Art of Animation in December 2012, in a Nemo suite. Do the rooms have DVD players? I don't see it listed on the amenities, but I called and they said yes, because it is a "deluxe room." I don't feel confident in that answer.

    Hi Lisa,

I have stayed in an Art of Animation Nemo suite. I took extensive photos of the room. It did not include a DVD player.

There is a hook-up (in a concealed box under the TV) where you could connect your own portable DVD player or laptop to the TV, but there is no actual DVD player in the room. You can see a close up photo of this hook-up on the independent website blog.touringplans.com. Search there for an article called "Staying at the Art of Animation Resort: Info for the Grown-Ups."

For Disney classification purposes, the Art of Animation is in the value category, not the deluxe category. I have a feeling you were speaking with someone who just made an honest mistake.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know if you have additional questions.
