Hi there, Sarah! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so excited that you are staying at
Disney's Art of Animation Resort on your upcoming holiday!
I am happy to report that the Family Suites in The Lion King, Cars, and Finding Nemo sections of the resort do have Cuisinart coffee makers in the in-room kitchenette. My absolute favorite thing about these particular coffee makers is that they brew two cups at once, something that is sorely needed when staying until the Theme Parks close and still rising early to take advantage of
Extra Magic Hours. Although the coffee makers in the rooms do use pods, you are correct that they do not use the typical plastic coffee pod. Rather, the pod is a flat disc that looks very similar to a round tea bag.
Sarah, when my family visits the Walt Disney World Resort, one of the first purchases that we make is a Rapid Refill Mug. The Rapid Refill Mug is available for purchase in the
Landscape of Flavors and can be refilled with coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and fountain beverages at any Walt Disney World Resort hotel during the length of your stay. Please note that while you are welcome to bring your Rapid Refill Mug with you into the Theme Parks, it can not be refilled there. The Rapid Refill Mug comes in especially handy if I want to have my morning coffee before the little ones are up, or if we are staying in a room without a coffee maker, such as in The Little Mermaid Rooms at Disney's Art of Animation Resort.
I hope this has answered your question, Sarah, and please come back here if we can help make your vacation planning journey a little more magical!
Sarah B.
