Staying from April 9-13th, do you think it should be warm enough to swim in the pools? What kind of clothing items should I pack?

    Hi there Kiara!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question!  I'm super excited to hEAR you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort in April. The average high temperature for Orlando in April is historically in the low 80s with an average low temperature in the upper 50s. When my family has visited in April, we have always packed shorts and short-sleeve tops. However, I do recommend bringing a light sweater or jacket for those early mornings or late evenings in the parks when the temperature is cooler. I would suggest checking the local forecast in the days leading up to your trip so that you can pack accordingly.

Based on my own personal experience, I do believe it should be warm enough to swim in the pools as they are heated.  My family has visited in October and November when the temperatures dropped into the 60s, and my children enjoyed the pools at our Disney Resort hotel.

I hope this information has been helpful to you. If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to reach out again. Best wishes for a magical trip, Kiara!

    Happy Planning,
    Jodie
