Hiya Shawn!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. When my family and I stayed at Disney's Art of Animation Resort, we completely fell in love with it. There's so much to explore and the theming is absolutely magical! From the colorful lobby to the delightfully creative rooms,
Disney's Art of Animation Resort "draws" the attention of everyone in the party!
I spoke to a Cast Member over at
Resort Transportation who informed me that Disney's Bus Transportation will run around 5 a.m. in the intervals of 20 minutes, but once Disney Skyliner Transportation starts running at 7:30 a.m., the buses switch to once an hour for the following resorts: Disney's Art of Animation Resort,
Disney's Pop Century Resort,
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, and
Disney's Riviera Resort.
The
Disney Skyliner is truly an awesome and convenient way to get to
Disney's Hollywood Studios and the International Gateway at
Epcot. I've ridden it with a double stroller and my two kids without any issues. I did have to fold my double stroller, as I would while riding the Disney buses. Once I was on the Disney Skyliner, it felt wonderful. It's spacious, and the wind was circulating around. --I remember this well because a friend of mine reminded me of Pocahontas with the wind blowing through her hair! If you're not a fan of heights, the wrapped cabins help because you won't be able to see clearly below. It was a fun experience and I do hope you'll give it a try during your trip!
Shawn, I hope you have a magical vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort!
Aena
