    Staying at AOA, wondering if its possible to pay for early check in. I know they are good about holding bags and we could enjoy the resort and parks while waiting on room but we prefer to just unpack and get settled in when we arrive.

    Carrie,

    I have never heard of the Disney resorts offering an early check-in option, either paid or otherwise.

    But I am right there with you. I want to get the unpacking out of the way. We usually get back to our resort room late that first day, and we don't really want to waste another 1/2 hour unpacking when are kids are going to bed.

    My only advice is this;

    • Do On-Line check in, and note your early arrival if a place is available to do so.
    • Call the resort before you arrive (but not more than 10 days out) and ask them to arrange for an early room
    • When you arrive, ask if anything is available immediately.
    Because they assign specific rooms about 10 days out, and since they never know who will check out when, the most likely path to success is the third option. You have to be flexible on the location within the resort, but they might be able to help you out.

    Have a magical vacation!
