Staying at AOA, wondering if we will be able to use our refillable cups for milk? Also will a child with tree nut allergy be able to eat the Mickey Mouse ears ice cream? We have dining plan do you think we will need snacks? Thanks!!

    Hi Rebecca!

Disney offers refillable mugs for guests who like to enjoy soft drinks and coffee/tea/hot cocoa throughout their stay at their resort.  These mugs are for purchase for approximately $14.99 plus tax per person, or if you are on the dining plan, they are included, free of charge.  You are unable to get milk while using the refillable mugs.

As for everyones favorite ice cream at WDW, the Mickey Ears Ice Cream bar comes in at number one!  Unfortunately, the Mickey Bars contain coconut oil and it is made in a plant that produces nuts and wheat, so it is not listed as recommended for those with a nut allergy.

When you have the Disney dining plant, you are entitled to the snacks that are included in the plan.  It is how you use these credits thats important.  You can use the snack credit for water, fruit, pretzels, muffins cookies, fudge....the choice is really yours!

Hope this helps you plan your magical vacation!
