    We are staying at AOA 8/6/13-8/15/13. We are staying in a LM room. Is there a building and/or floor that is better than the others?

    That's a tough question to answer! I think everyone has personal favorites when it comes to room locations!

    First, let me say that the Art of Animation Resort is incredibly well-themed and is totally immersive. I hope you'll love it as much as I do!

    The Little Mermaid section of the Art of Animation is located to the left of Animation Hall if you are standing facing the building from the parking/bus areas.

    There are two main things I'd always like to consider in a room request. First, do you have a preference in floors? Do you like to be on the first floor where there are no stairs to climb and you have easy access to the pools in the area? Personally, our family prefers a higher floor: we feel a little more secure and we love having more of an "overview" of the resort each time we leave the room!

    Next, would you like to be close to the Little Mermaid pool? Or would you like to be closest to Animation Hall?

    Since I like to reserve my walking energy for the parks, I'd personally ask for a room closest to Animation Hall in building 7 or 9. If you have a floor preference, I would add this too. (For a great map of the resort, AllEars.net has a wonderful large PDF view).
