Staying at AOA, have reservations for the Pirate Fireworks Cruise at Contemporary, can we drive to contemporary earlier in the day and park there and then take the monorail back and forth to MK in between? Planning to go MK @3 and then over to cruise at 8p

    Hi, Kristen!

The Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage is so much fun! You're going to really enjoy this interactive experience. Your Pirate host, Patch, will have you rolling on the deck laughing! And the view of Wishes (the Magic Kingdom fireworks show) is absolutely amazing from aboard your boat on the Seven Seas Lagoon.

Parking at Disney's Contemporary Resort is technically limited to Guests staying at that resort. Guests arriving for dining reservations, tours or other reserved activities are allowed to park at the resort, usually with a two-hour time limit. I would recommend parking in the Magic Kingdom parking lot at the Transportation & Ticket Center and taking the monorail or ferry to the park entrance. When you are ready to head over to the Contemporary for your cruise, you can either hop on the monorail and ride it just one stop or take the pedestrian walkway from Magic Kingdom to the resort. After your cruise docks back at the Contemporary Marina, you can take the monorail one stop to the Ticket & Transportation Center to pick up your car and return to Disney's Art of Animation for a good night's sleep (which I'm sure you will need after a busy day of family fun!).

Wishing you a magical vacation, Kristen! Please let me know if I can assist you further with any aspect of your vacation planning.
