We are staying at AOA pre-cruise in June 2014. What time does the bus leave AOA to go to the port? Does the bus go directly to the port or make other stops at other hotels?

Welcome aboard, Susan! Besides the cruise, you are so fortunate to be staying at the Art of Animation Resort before you set sail next summer! I've been all around that resort and absolutely love the themes and little details that are hidden throughout the grounds. My favorite area is in the Cars wing where you can see Sally's Cozy Cone and pose for pictures with your favorite Cars friends!

It's a good thing you have the cruise to look forward to, so that leaving Art of Animation won't be so hard! The evening before your motorcoach picks you up to head to Port Canaveral, you'll receive a call or letter in your room at the resort, letting you know when and where to meet for your transportation, as well as details about luggage. Because each week, the motorcoaches pick up any guests on that particular cruise, there isn't a way for me to tell you exactly when you'll be picked up. It really depends on how many other guests at your resort and at other nearby Disney resorts are using this cruise transportation that day. But, rest assured, you'll receive a pick-up time the day before, as Mears, the company operating the shuttles, schedules these the day before. Usually, the motorcoaches pick up Disney resort guests between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. The motorcoach can stop at up to three resorts before heading to Port Canaveral, but you might find you're the last stop on the route and you head right there!

Either way, once you step onboard the bus, you'll be able to relax and let Disney take care of all the details, making your transition from land to sea very easy and stress free! Watch the fun cruise video they play and then let the kids enjoy the classic Disney cartoons on the drive out, and before you know it, you'll spot the ship!

Let me know if I can help with anything else as you continue to plan for your summer cruise, Susan! I'm happy to help!
