Staying at AoA but plan to transfer to AKL for last night. Best room(s) for viewing animals from room. 5 A, 4 C (8,4,22mo, 18 mo). Also looking for best value. Can we use night goggles from room?

    Hi Shawn!

You're going to love Animal Kingdom Lodge! All of the rooms with a savannah view offer a marvelous view if the animals and natural surroundings! There are 3 11 acre savannahs at AKL: Sunset, Arusha and Uzima. The Zebra Trail Rooms overlook the Arusha Savannah (odd numbered rooms) and Uzima Savannah (even numbered rooms). The even numbered rooms (on any floor) in rooms 572-584 overlook the feeding area, which is a great place to watch the animals congregate. You can request this room when you make your reservation, but room assignment is based on availability and can't be guaranteed.

You can use night vision goggles and binoculars from your room and they are highly encouraged. I hope you have a magical vacation!

    Magically,
    Stacy
