Staying at AOA for 5 nights, then going to 4 nights DC to Bahamas and come back staying at Port Orleans FQ for 1 more night. Can we leave our luggages in 1 of the resorts until we come back from the cruise? Thanks.

Welcome aboard, Annie! I'm so glad you asked this question when you did, because I had the exact same question myself, as my family will be doing a trip very similar to yours! We'll soon be staying at the Art of Animation Resort, then setting sail on the Disney Magic, then heading to Port Orleans, but we'll be at Riverside, whereas you'll be at French Quarter. I was hoping to leave a bag to be transferred while we're on the ship too, so I've been looking into those options.

I have great news for you! I spoke with a Cast Member at the front desk of Art of Animation and found out that we can indeed leave a bag to be transferred to Port Orleans and then held there until we return from the cruise. Bell services transfers bags quite often for guests who stay at one Disney resort for a few nights then head directly to another Disney resort. But, I wasn't sure if they'd hold it for the four nights we'd be sailing. I'm so thrilled that they will, as that means one less suitcase to take up room in the stateroom on the ship.

The Cast Member at Art of Animation did suggest that we tell the Cast Members at the front desk when we initially check in that we plan to leave a bag at check-out to be transferred to Port Orleans and held until after our cruise. She said, it's best to let them know then so they can give us suggestions on when is the best time to leave it with Bell Services that morning we check out. And personally, I like to verify everything on sight anyway, just to be sure we're all on the same page.

I hope those details help as you get ready for your land and sea vacation with Disney! Have a wonderful trip!
