Hello Natalie!
Congratulations on your upcoming nuptials! I always enjoy seeing brides and grooms celebrating their new marriage at Walt Disney World. You’ll definitely want to make sure that your Honeymoon is noted on your reservation, in case some extra pixie dust in the air finds its way to you!
I do understand the concern about an overseas call, but in case you decide you would like to call, here is a
handy list of numbers, including ones specifically for Guests from the United Kingdom. I think the easiest option, is to wait until just before your trip, when you are able to do online check-in. Guests may do online check-in beginning 60 days prior to arrival, and there should be a place to note any celebrations during your stay. If you are still not able to add it there, you can add this information once you arrive at the resort. Cast Members will usually ask you if you are celebrating anything, but if they don’t, feel free to let them know and to ask for your complimentary Celebration Buttons! These buttons make a great souvenir and are so much fun to wear during your vacation. You’ll find Cast Members and even fellow Guests throughout the parks will see the buttons and wish you their congratulations.
For even more fun, you may want to visit The Chapeau on Main Street, U.S.A., to purchase bride and groom Mickey Ears. You’re sure to get noticed and get some super cute PhotoPass Photos!
Wishing you both your own “Happily Ever After!”
