We are staying at AOA and going to Mickey's BBQ one evening. Question - how is the best way to get there, i.e., should we drive or take the bus? If we take the bus, is there a direct bus that will take us there or will be need to transfer busses?

Hi there Sandra! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question! You are going to love staying at Disney's Art of Animation Resort during your upcoming trip! If you will have a car during your visit, I would definitely recommend driving to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground for your dinner at Mickey’s Backyard BBQ. Unfortunately, there is not direct bus transportation from Disney's Art of Animation Resort to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. If you do decide to utilize Disney's complimentary transportation, the best route would be to take a bus to Magic Kingdom Park and then transfer to a motor cruiser (water taxi) bound for Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. When dining at other resorts, I have always found it to be quicker and more convenient to simply drive. I hope this information helps!  Please don't hesitate to write me back with any additional questions that you may have. Best wishes for a magical trip, Sandra!
